Larceny in Marlette at the Main Street Grill

(MARLETTE) -- The Marlette Police Department is investigating a larceny at the Main Street Grill restaurant. The incident was reported to police at around 6 a.m. Sunday, August 18 when the front door of the business was found unlocked and the cash drawer and deposit bag were missing along with an undisclosed amount of money. Officers say that employees confirmed that the door was locked when they left the restaurant around 8 p.m. Saturday, August 17. Previous employees are being interviewed and surveillance video is being reviewed. A still photo from surveillance video shows a suspect entering the Main Street Grill at around 4:15 a.m. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Marlette Police Department at 989-635-2008. A cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible.
