(AREA) -- A suspect is now in custody following an investigation into an assault that occurred early Saturday morning at a Croswell bar. Croswell Police say two people were seriously injured and treated at area hospitals. When the incident was reported to police, the suspect had already fled the scene. The vehicle the suspect fled in was later located at a house in the 7100 block of Avoca Road by St. Clair County Sheriff's deputies. A search warrant was secured and the suspect was arrested. He is in custody on multiple warrants from several agencies for serious offenses and has a history of fleeing from officers. He is being held on a no-bond detainer from the Michigan Department of Corrections. The investigation continues and may result in additional arrests of others involved in the assault. Croswell Police would like to thank those who came forward with information that led to the arrest of this dangerous suspect, as well as the number of other law enforcement agencies that assisted.
