UNDATED (AP) - The Major League Baseball season is in a holding pattern as the four-day All-Star break continues. Following last night's 3-0 win by the American League, the second-half of the season won't start until Friday. In case you missed the action last night, the AL stars blanked the National League as Mariano Rivera was named the game's MVP. He pitched a 1-2-3 eighth inning. The American League got runs batted in from Toronto's Jose Bautista, J.J. Hardy of the Orioles and Cleveland's Jason Kipnis. The National League tops the series 43-39-2 and the win means the American League champion will have home field advantage in this fall's World Series.
