TAMPA BAY, Florida (AP) - Ever do something so bad, you just had to laugh at yourself? Then you know how Carly Rae Jespen felt after she threw out the first pitch at the Tampa Bay Rays game on Sunday. To call it a pitch is a stretch. She looked good winding up but when the ball left her hand, she spiked it to the ground and it rolled about a third of the way up the first base line, where it nearly hit a photographer expecting to track the ball to the plate. Pitcher Matt Moore scrambled to recover the errant toss. She may be a bad pitcher, but Jespen is a good sport. She posted her own pictures of her misfire on Instagram, saying that she was so bad, Moore gave her a sympathy hug.
