(CLAY TOWNSHIP) -- Police say a 28-year-old man has died on a Lake St. Clair island that is the site of the annual Jobbie Nooner weekend boat party. In a brief statement, Clay Township police say the man was reported to be unresponsive around 4:30 a.m. Friday. An emergency crew sent to Gull Island was unable to revive him. His name was not immediately released. An autopsy is planned. Jobbie Nooner is a boat party that typically attracts hundreds of people to the waters around Gull Island in St. Clair County, near the Michigan-Ontario border.
