(HURON COUNTY) -- Huron County Sheriff's deputies were assisted by Elkton Police during two drug raids Wednesday evening in Caseville Township. Sheriff Hanson says the warrants were the result of several months of investigation into the sale and distribution of heroin in the county. The first raid took place at 4838 Hillcrest Drive. Officers seized heroin, drug paraphernalia, prescription drugs, and an unknown white powder from the home, along with $4,500 in cash. Arrested at the residence was 30-year old Jeffrey Hatch. He remains jailed on a $100,000 cash bond. The second raid took place at 4723 Patrick Drive. More drug paraphernalia was seized from the residence, which was occupied, but no arrests were made. Authorities in Tuscola County arrested 31-year old Brandon Fabyan of Pigeon after the search warrants were served and transported him to the Huron County jail for his role in the investigation. He is being held on a $20,000 bond for two felony charges involving the sale and distribution of heroin. Thursday, another wanted suspect was arrested. 33-year old Anthony Spencer of Clio remains jailed on a $100,000 cash bond and is also being held for the Department of Corrections for a parole violation. Sheriff Hanson says several arrest warrants have been issued in this case. It is believed that some of those individuals were part of distributing heroin throughout the thumb. Deputies are being assisted by the Caseville Police Department and Sanilac County Drug Task Force.
