(YALE) -- The 26-year old Yale man accused in a rash of break-ins of businesses in St. Clair and Sanilac counties has been arraigned. Devin Meyers was charged with five counts of larceny from a building, and one count each of breaking and entering auto, safe breaking, possession of a schedule 3 narcotic and possession of a schedule 4 narcotic. An investigation into the break-ins began several weeks ago. A traffic stop lead police to a home in the 500 block of North Main Street in Yale where items were found linking Meyers to the crimes in Yale, Brockway Township and Sanilac County. Yale Police were assisted by the St. Clair County Major Crimes Unit and Detectives from the Sanilac County Sheriff's Department during the search. Meyers is scheduled to appear in 72nd District Court in Port Huron on June 25 at 9:30 a.m.
