In other business, the CPS district will begin a partnership with Croswell-Lexington Schools, enhancing student educational opportunities in the CL5 early college program, advance-placement classes and elective classes. The two districts will also share superintendent leadership and administrative support, a curriculum director including professional development from St. Clair RESA, technology support including a technology director, a Special Education Director/LEA Coordinator, and an athletic director. School officials say the partnership is a win/win situation educationally and financially for both districts.
The CPS board also approved a 3-year contract with K-12 Principal Jennifer Richmond.
