LAS VEGAS (AP) - Six months in jail, a $1,000 fine, and up to 96 hours of community service. Those are among the penalties that may come Erin Brockovich's way. The environmental activist who gave her name to the 2000 movie that won Julia Roberts an Oscar has been charged with operating a boat while intoxicated. The DA's office decided to press charges against her after her arrest over the weekend at a marina near Hoover Dam. A warden says two breath tests placed her blood-alcohol level at twice the legal limit in the state of Nevada. Brockovich has a court date in October.
