(SANILAC COUNTY) -- The 2nd Annual Sanilac County Public Safety Day is this Saturday, June 15 at the Sanilac Shrine Park, just west of Carsonville on Shrine Park Road. The public is invited to attend. There will be police, fire, and EMS vendors on display from Noon-5 p.m. and horseshoe, golf, and softball games from Noon-4 p.m. A helicopter is expected to land at around 3 p.m. A concession stand will be on site until 3 p.m. and the refreshment counter will be open until midnight. The steak cook-out is from 4-7 p.m. and tickets are $15 per person. The Sanilac County Policemen/Firemen Awards Program will follow the steak dinner at 7 p.m. During the ceremony, the citizen, firefighter, law enforcement officer, dispatcher, and EMT of the Year will be honored.
