(DETROIT) -- The Automotive Press Association hosted a luncheon at the Detroit Athletic Club and heard from Edmunds President & COO Seth Berkowitz. He explained that Edmunds began publishing printed car price guides in the 1960's and launched the car industry's first Internet site in 1994. The company has a long history of innovating ways to empower and support car shoppers. Some of their innovations over the years include True Market Value, True Cost to Own, and EdmundsLive Advice--the only free advice line and chat service for car shoppers provided by a company with nothing to sell. President and COO Seth Berkowitz announced the newest offering from Edmunds--Price Promise, which will transform the car shopping experience and make it easier for shoppers to buy and for dealers to sell.
