MADRID (AP) - Bon Jovi had a choice: skip playing Spain or play cheap. They are choosing to play cheap. El Mundo newspaper reports tickets for Bon Jovi's June 27 concert in Madrid will cost between $23 and $50, about half the normal ticket price. Jon Bon Jovi says they had considered not performing in Spain because the country's severe economic crisis means their fans don't have a lot of cash. However, he says he didn't want to let fans down in a country the band loves. Bon Jovi dropped their performance fee, so the ticket price covers just the costs of staging the show. The concert is sold out.
