WASHINGTON (AP) - It's one of the funniest scenes in TV history. Carol Burnett wearing a gown made of green drapes with the curtain rod still in them in a "Gone With the Wind" parody on "The Carol Burnett Show." Burnett will now be honored for a lifetime of making people laugh. The Kennedy Center will give her the Mark Twain Prize for comedy this October. Burnett jokes that she can't believe she's getting this honor in the nation's capital when "it's almost impossible to be funnier than the people in Washington." You can bet some of her co-stars will be among the comedians honoring Burnett at the gala on October 20. The show will air October 30 on PBS.
