Sandusky Police seeking tips in B&E case

(SANDUSKY) -- Sandusky Police continue to investigate a case of "malicious mischief." Chief Brett Lester says a group of individuals were drinking on the roof of Sheldon Medical Supply, located at 21 W. Sanilac, at around 3 a.m. Sunday, when the suspects allegedly broke apart a chimney and began throwing bricks into the street and at nearby buildings, causing damage. Chief Lester says the individuals then climbed down and broke into Sheldon's before fleeing on foot. It appears nothing was taken from the business. Evidence left on the roof top was recovered by police. Chief Lester says his department is seeking tips from the public in finding those responsible. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sandusky Police Department at 810-648-4016.
