(WORTH TOWNSHIP) -- A tractor pulling two attached pieces of farm equipment collided with a car along Wildcat Road near Sheridan Line in Sanilac County's Worth Township Thursday just after 10 a.m. Sheriff's deputies say the vehicle driven by 69-year old William Carpenter of Carsonville was traveling south on Wildcat and started to pass the tractor driven by 48-year old Thomas Walls of Croswell. Walls told deputies that he did not see the vehicle in the passing lane and started to turn into a field on the east side of the road prior to the collision. Carpenter received minor injuries and was treated at the scene. His passenger, 64-year old Kathleen Brynt of Sandusky, was transported to Port Huron Hospital by Croswell EMS for non-life threatening injuries. Walls was not injured. Deputies say Walls used his turn signal, but Carpenter did not see it. Croswell Fire and Police assisted at the scene.
