(PORT HURON) -- St. Clair County Drug Task Force officers conducted two drug raids Wednesday in Port Huron netting cocaine, heroin, marijuana, and cash. Five people were arrested and await arraignment on charges. The first raid took place at 6 p.m. in the 600 block of Superior Street. Officers seized crack cocaine valued at $100, $350 worth of heroin, marijuana and $300 in cash. Two Port Huron men ages 49 and 58 and a 42-year old Detroit area man were arrested. The second raid happened around 11:45 p.m. in the 2900 block of Pine Grove Avenue. A search warrant was secured after deputies received information about a suspect at the residence selling narcotics in the Port Huron area. During the search, officers seized $3,000 worth of heroin, $200 in crack cocaine, marijuana and over $550 in cash. A 33-year old Detroit man and 27-year old woman, also from Detroit, were arrested.
A third raid took place early Friday morning at a home in the 700 block of Court Street. Five people were arrested after Drug Task Force officers seized crack cocaine valued at $1,550, heroin valued at $4,350, marijuana, methamphetamine, $250 in cash and a vehicle. Two Detroit area men ages 27 and 28, a 24-year old Clyde Township man and a 27-year old Port Huron woman were arrested and remain jailed on numerous drug-related charges.
