(CARSONVILLE-PORT SANILAC) -- Carsonville-Port Sanilac Schools have welcomed back former Superintendent Harold Titus. The school board unanimously approved hiring Mr. Titus on an interim basis during a special meeting April 24. Titus served the CPS district as Superintendent from November 2003 through June 2011. Former Superintendent Ann Binienda took over the position and retired at the end of April after 36-years with the district. Mr. Titus will work on a part-time basis through June 2014.
Mr. Titus stated "I want everyone to know I am very happy to be working with the CPS District again. We have lots of work to get done. When we get it done, the District will be better both financially and educationally. This is not a marathon, but a sprint. We will get through this quickly, so that we may move forward. As things develop, everyone will be kept well informed. I encourage anyone with questions to contact me at 810-657-9393.
