(BROWN CITY) -- Police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Tri-County Bank in downtown Brown City just before 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon. Police Chief Ron Smith says authorities are searching for the bandit who did not have a gun, but handed a note to a teller at the bank. The suspect is described as a white male, between 30-40 years old, approximately 5’8” tall weighing between 150-180lbs. He was last seen wearing a dark colored T-shirt with an American flag on the front, a baseball cap and sunglasses. He fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash in a red/maroon Chrysler Town & Country mini-van in an unknown direction of travel. Authorities say no one was hurt in the robbery.
