(SANDUSKY) -- McKenzie Health System in Sandusky wants to know what residents think about the health needs of the community. Community Health Needs Assessment meetings will be held on April 16 from 5:30-7 p.m. and April 17 from 10-11:30 a.m. in the hospital's dining room. Community members are invited and there is no cost to attend. Steve Barnett, McKenzie Health System CEO, says the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, passed in 2010, requires all not-for-profit hospitals to conduct a community health needs assessment every three years. Attendees will be offered the opportunity to give their opinion about what they see as the biggest healthcare needs facing the area and how to address those needs in the best way possible. Pre-registration is requested by calling 810-648-6127.
