(SANILAC COUNTY) -- Sanilac County will conduct an annual test of the Emergency Warning system Monday, April 8. All sirens in the county will be activated at 5 p.m. by local fire departments in the warning mode. An all clear will be activated at approximately 5:10 p.m. Sanilac County Emergency Management Director Todd Hillman says that during the siren test, residents are encouraged to practice their plan of action in the case of an emergency weather situation. In the event of a real emergency, citizens should have enough supplies to sustain each family member for 72 hours.
