(SANDUSKY) -- Sandusky dairy farmer Leonard Brown was recently reelected to serve a 3-year term on the Michigan Milk Producers Association board of directors. Brown represents MMPA members in Sanilac and Huron counties. Brown was elected to the board position at the MMPA District 8 delegate meeting held in Bad Axe on February 25. He has served on the MMPA Advisory Committee and as a treasurer/secretary for the Sandusky Local. Brown has also served as the Elmer Township Supervisor for the past 23 years. He and his brother William own and operate Brown Brothers Dairy where they milk 110 cows and farm 950 acres. The Michigan Milk Producers Association is a member owned and controlled cooperative serving approximately 2,000 dairy farmers in Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio and Indiana.
