ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - A couple inches were all that separated No. 6 Michigan from a Big Ten title. When Jordan Morgan's putback attempt rolled off the rim Sunday against Indiana, the Wolverines fell all the way to the No. 5 seed in the Big Ten tournament. Now they won't even have a first-round bye. Instead, Michigan faces a Penn State team that upset the Wolverines a couple weeks ago. In fact, Michigan may need to beat Penn State, Wisconsin and Indiana to reach the tournament final. Those teams handed the Wolverines four of their six defeats this season. Michigan takes on the Nittany Lions on Thursday.
