Marlette Schools take top honors at Raymond T. Dunbar Academic Games

(SANILAC COUNTY) -- Marlette Schools took home the traveling trophy at the 28th Annual Raymond T. Dunbar Sanilac County Academic Games, Saturday, February 23, for the 6th year in a row. Students on the Marlette team earned 302 total points and took top honors in the Science and Social Studies categories. Brown City Schools earned second place overall with 294 points and took top honors in Math. Carsonville-Port Sanilac earned third place overall with 274 points taking first in Language Arts and second place in Science. Other participating schools included Croswell-Lexington, Deckerville, Peck and Sandusky. 135 students tested their knowledge and skills during the competition held at St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron.
