(BAD AXE) -- A joint investigation by the Huron County Sheriff's Department and Bad Axe Police resulted in a drug raid at a Bad Axe residence netting heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and cash. The search warrant was executed at the home located at 215 W. Butler Street Thursday evening. Officers discovered the meth lab in one of the bedrooms and contacted the Bay Area Narcotic Enforcement Team. The HAZMAT crew and fire fighters arrived on scene and quickly began opening doors and windows for ventilation of explosive fumes created from the manufacturing of methamphetamine. A 21-year old Detroit man was arrested for delivery of a controlled substance. A 30-year old Bad Axe man was taken into custody for maintaining a drug house. Additional charges are pending.
