(LEXINGTON TOWNSHIP) -- Alcohol and heavy fog were contributing factors in a two vehicle crash that took place around 2 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Black River Road and Harrington Road in Sanilac County's Lexington Township. Sheriff's deputies say that a pickup driven by a 45-year old Croswell man was traveling south on Black River Road when he failed to stop at the intersection and collided with an eastbound vehicle driven by 43-year old Troy Davis of Croswell. Both vehicles came to rest in the south ditch of Harrington Road following impact. Davis was transported by Croswell EMS to Port Huron Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The 45-year old Croswell man, who was not injured in the crash, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. His name is being withheld pending arraignment. Croswell Police assisted deputies at the scene.
