With almost 75 years passing since his grandfather, Clarence King, opened his first dealership, Dave Tubbs, his family, and the team at Tubbs Brothers work to ensure the business continues to give back to the community.

Sponsoring such organizations and events as the Bob Stasiuk Musical Park Memorial, Sandusky Schools, Carsonville-Port Sanilac Schools, Sandusky Alumni Foundation, Sanilac County Historical Society, the Port Sanilac Blues Festival, the Sanilac County 4-H Fair, and McKenzie Health System, to name a few, the dealership stays very busy year after year.

Recently this year, Tubbs Brothers’ partnered with McKenzie Health System for September’s Early Detection is Music To Our Ears campaign, where they matched up to $10,000 raised for the new gastroenterology equipment. They also partnered with McKenzie to provide free men’s health screenings in September.

Their October plans revolve around the Sanilac County Community Foundation’s Gladiators Wear Pink campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness month, with the plan that the dealership will match donations up to $25,000, as well as donating $100 for every new and used vehicle sold, and $10 for every oil change done at the Quick Lube. Last year, the dealership raised almost $16,000 for cancer patients and related awareness and prevention efforts.
