Deckerville’s Board of Education met yesterday to extend the contracts of elementary principal Matthew Connelly and high school principal Josh Stern. Also at last night’s meeting, the Deckerville school board approved the renewals of their MHSAA membership and Chartwell contract for the next school year.
Unfortunately, much like Sandusky’s meeting last week, Deckerville Schools said goodbye to a few familiar faces, such as 4th-grade teacher Nancy Kritzman-Pozsgay, who will be leaving at the end of the school year, and bus driver Scottie McVittie, who will be exiting in July of this year.
