Sandusky Lawn Chair Series tunes up for June 24 start

(SANILAC COUNTY) – The popular Lawn Chair Series concerts in Sandusky will once again be returning to the courthouse lawn for a six-week program.

Organizers say the first event will be held Friday, June 24th and continue through the end of July.

After a cancellation of the Series due to COVID, the concerts made a return appearance last year, without any financial banking from businesses.

Officials say last year’s concerts was done as a gift to the community in an effort to bring people back together to enjoy the Series which is now entering it’s 14th season of bringing music to downtown Sandusky.

The Sandusky Arts Council is seeking sponsors and financial support for this year’s concert that will feature Blues, Classic Rock and Country from the 50s thru 80s in the first week.

Joey Vee, a popular vocalist to the Lawn Chair Series, will close out the year on July 29th singing a mixture of Country and Rock.
