(SANILAC COUNTY) – Three people were involved in a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Argyle and Germania Roads in Argyle Township Monday evening shortly after 6 p.m.

According to the Sanilac County Sheriff Department, a 19-year-old Decker woman was southbound in Evergreen Township on Germania Road in a 2006 Cadillac.

The woman stopped at the stop sign at the intersection with Argyle Rd. before continuing south through the intersection and into the path of a 2007 Mercury driven by a 41-year-old Sandusky man who was traveling eastbound on Argyle Rd.

The Sandusky man and his 74-year-old passenger were treated on scene by Argyle Fire and Rescue and MMR before both were later transported to McKenzie Health System by MMR for further treatment.

The Decker woman was not injured.

Deputies say all subjects were wearing seatbelts and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
