(ST. CLAIR COUNTY) – A 59-year old Columbus Township man is dead following a one car crash Tuesday night in Columbus Township.
According to St. Clair County Sheriff Mat King, deputies were called to the 7900 block of Rattle Run Road shortly after 8:00 p.m.
Deputies investigation showed the man was driving a 1999 Corvette eastbound on Rattle Run, losing control of the vehicle, causing it to go off the road on the south side.
The car rolled on its side and the man was ejected from the wreckage.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Unit.
Michigan State Police, Richmond Fire Department and Richmond Lenox EMS also assisted at the scene of the crash.
