No injuries in Fort Gratiot trailer fire

No injuries were reported after a trailer caught fire Thursday morning in Fort Gratiot. Firefighters from the Fort Gratiot Fire Department arrived at the scene shortly before 11:00 a.m. to find a camping trailer fully engulfed in the 4300 block of Keewahdin Road. Officials say a dog was inside the trailer at the time of the fire, but the owner was able to rescue it before firefighters arrived at the scene. The trailer was a total loss, and the cause of the blaze is under investigation. The Fort Gratiot Fire Department was assisted on the scene by the St. Clair County Sheriff Department and Tri-Hospital EMS.
