Two schools adjust staff

(AREA) – The Yale and Brown City school districts have experienced numerous personnel changes in recent weeks as teachers and administrators have shuffled around.

In Yale, Megan Yelle, who was the Assistant Principal at the high school, left that position to take over as Principal at the Avoca Elementary school.

Garnett Kohler, a former Marlette schools administrator came back to Yale to take over as Assistant Principal at the high school and most recently, Rick Carlson was named the new Elementary Principal in Yale.

Meanwhile, in Brown City, Brandy Trinkle takes over as Assistant Secretary in the high school, Stephanie Childers is the new Assistant Secretary at the elementary school and Sue Petitpren was named the new head secretary in the elementary.

The Brown City school board also approved coaching appointments including Tony Burton as junior varsity girls basketball coach and Calvin Cook as a volunteer with the boys varsity basketball team.
