Another difficult decision has been made regarding County Fairs in the area. The Sanilac County Fair Board met Tuesday evening and after a lengthy discussion, they have voted to postpone the 2020 Sanilac County Fair. The board said with the impact of COVID-19, they have have found themselves in unprecedented times and with heavy hearts, the Fairboard made the difficult decision to postpone the fair to August 9th – 14th 2021. Board members said the safety and health of the community, volunteers, youth and spectators are of upmost importance to the Sanilac County Fairboard. Members of the Armada Fair Board made a similar decision last week, saying their proximity to the Metro-Detroit area where the virus created a hot-spot and potential issues with a possible spread of the virus.
