Candidate list for Sanilac County grows

The list of candidates vying for a political office in Sanilac County continues to grow as candidates file for various positions. So far, those filing for Sanilac County Sheriff include Nathan Smith and Steve McKenney, a 20-year veteran of the department, who will square off in the August Primary. Also announcing their filing is Scott Radloff who will challenge Mark Davidson and Tim Wrathell for Circuit Court Judge. Two others to recently announce their intentions is Brian Williams, who plans to file for Drain Commissioner and Jon Block, who has announced he is running for a position on the Sanilac County Board of Commissioners. Block is running for the District 1 seat on the Board, currently held by Dan Dean who is not running for re-election. Potential candidates have until April 21st to file with the Sanilac County Clerk’s Office.
