Melvin man injured in crash

Police investigate Speaker Township crash

 

 

 

 

 

(SANILAC COUNTY) – A 54-year old Melvin man sustained injuries in a one-vehicle rollover accident Friday afternoon.

According to the Sanilac County Sheriff Department, Timothy Eagle was driving south on Washington Street in the Village of Melvin around 1:30 p.m. when he lost control, left the roadway, striking a utility pole and rolling the vehicle partially over.

Eagle, the lone occupant of the vehicle was ejected from the wreckage.

He was treated on scene before being transported to McLaren Lapeer Regional hospital for further treatment.

Deputies were assisted by Speaker Township Fire Department and Marlette EMS. The incident remains under investigation.
