Sandusky Fire Association sets budget; pay amounts

The Sandusky Community Fire Association recently held their January meeting and approved the new budget for 2020-2021.

The Association’s new budget comes in at just over $133,000 dollars with the City of Sandusky paying around $54,000, a decrease of 350 dollars from a year ago.

Watertown Township’s contribution will be $40,700 dollars, about $125 dollars less than last year.

Custer and Elmer Townships will see minimal increase, with Custer paying $24,000 dollars – an increase of around $295 dollars and Elmer’s share of the budget is $14,400 dollars, an increase of just $20 dollars.

The Association also approved an insurance refund check of $8,500 dollars be used for the purchase of turnout gear.
