Six taken into custody after drug raid

(PORT HURON) – Six people were taken into custody by the St. Clair County Drug Task Force, following a raid of a home in Port Huron. DTF agents seized cocaine and prescription pills during the January 9th raid.

Sheriff Department officials say the DTF conducted an investigation into the sales of cocaine in the Port Huron area, leading to the execution of the search warrant in the 1300 block of Nelson Street in Port Huron.

DTF agents seized about $2500 worth of cocaine, along with a quantity of pills.

In addition to the narcotics, five men from Port Huron, ranging in age from 19 to 43, along with a 31-year old Port Huron woman, were taken into custody.

The suspects are expected to face multiple drug charges including possession of cocaine and maintaining a drug house.
