Former pastor to be sentenced for sex crimes

(AREA) – Former Port Huron pastor Jackie Woodburn is what a U.S. Attorney called “an internet sexual predator” who deserves to go to prison for 20 years.

Woodburn, 65, will be sentenced Wednesday in federal court.

An indictment filed in August 2018 charged Woodburn with two counts of sexual exploitation of children, two counts of coercion or enticement of a female and activities related to material constituting or containing child porn.

He pleaded guilty in September to one count of production of child pornography, which carries a minimum of 15 years in prison, a maximum of 30 years and five years to a lifetime of supervised release.

Sentencing guidelines place Woodburn in the range of 30 years in prison, according to court officials.
