A 37-year old man faces several felony charges in the death of a Tuscola County woman. Larry E. Lyons of Caro was arraigned Wednesday morning in Tuscola County District Court and was denied bond. Lyons faces charges including open murder, assault with intent to murder, child abuse – 2nd degree, and domestic violence – 3rd offense. Police originally responded to a residence on Gerou Road near Caro earlier this week to discover 36-year old Brandy Marie Dickson suffering from multiple stab wounds. Dickson was transferred to a local hospital, where she passed away from her injuries. An 11-month old child was also treated at the hospital for injuries. The child is listed in stable condition.
