Port Huron Speedway robbed twice in three weeks

For the second time in three weeks, Port Huron Police say a Port Huron Speedway gas station was robbed. According to investigators, around 4 a.m. Tuesday, a possible robbery at the Speedway on Ravenswood Road was reported. A clerk told officers the suspect entered the store, pointed what appeared to be a gun at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk complied, and the suspect fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash. A St. Clair County Sheriff dog responded to the scene but was unable to locate the suspect. Authorities say the suspect is described as a black man wearing a black coat, gray sweatpants, a mask and a hat. Port Huron Police, St. Clair County Sheriff and Marysville Police responded to the scene. According to police, the store was also robbed November 28th when a suspect entered the store, pointed what appeared to be a gun at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk complied, and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Authorities say the suspect from the November robbery was similar to the description of the second robbery. Anyone with information about the crimes is asked to contact Port Huron police.
