The Sanilac-Huron County Economic Development Corporation, along with the city of Croswell will have a presentation December 18th from 1 until 5pm on a venture with students from Lawrence Technological University to design an affordable housing community for the city. The meeting will be held at the Thumbs Up Lounge on Howard Avenue in Croswell December 18th and is open to the public. Officials say there are eight teams at the university that have developed eight different proposals statewide. Each project is for small affordable housing, targeted at around 35 thousand dollars. Plans call for the homes to be for general laborers in the area, either singles or couples, because of the small size of the homes.
