(MARLETTE) – The Marlette Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a new event coming to the Heart of the Thumb in October! The first annual Fall Family Fun Day is scheduled for Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 2 – 6 p.m. in downtown Marlette.
The Fall Family Fun Day will be replacing the former Trick or Trunk event and will be jam-packed with activities all along Main Street including horse-drawn trolley rides sponsored by Kelly & Co. Inc. Insurance and Independent Bank; a big kids ropes course sponsored by Farm Bureau Insurance – Steve Ellis Agency, Grupo Antolin, and McDonald’s; children’s inflatables sponsored by Dave Hall Chevrolet and Marlette Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
There will be live music sponsored by RCA Trucking & Repair; a mini fall family photo shoot by Laura Kathryn Photography sponsored by Donley Realty; a children’s pedal pull sponsored by Bob & Doris Wood and the GFWC; a hay bale maze sponsored by Marlette Regional Hospital and pumpkin and rock painting sponsored by Hart Realty.
Visitors will be able to go to Marlette Train Depot tours; a petting zoo sponsored by Barks & Bubbles LLC; children’s crafts; food trucks; classic car and tractor show; craft show; in-store specials; and much, much more!
This event is offered free of charge but free-will donations will be accepted at the Information Tent.
