Marlette bank robbed Monday morning

(MARLETTE) – According to Sanilac County Dispatch, the Chase Bank on Main Street in Marlette was robbed early Monday morning. Police were searching for two suspects, both males, described  as both being in blue jeans & knit caps, one reported to be about 5’6″ with the other about 6′ tall. Police say one of the suspects was reported to have shown a weapon during the hold-up and both men were wearing masks. Police from several agencies have converged on the scene to investigate the theft and search for suspects. K-9 units have also been called in to help with the search. Police say the suspects fled the scene in a Ford Escape with a red license plate on the front of the vehicle and are considered to be armed and dangerous. No injuries have been reported.
