(BAD AXE) – Students, staff and other personnel were evacuated from the Bad Axe high school this morning. According to information from the school, the evacuation took place around 10:30 a.m. due to a fire situation.
School officials said all students and personnel were moved to the Middle School and were safe.
The Bad Axe fire department was at the school investigating the situation and there was no immediate threat or danger to students or staff. The school plans to release more information later today.
Parents were being allowed to pick up students at the middle school gym at anytime and bus schedules were being adjusted to accommodate the situation.
