(SANDUSKY) – The Sanilac County Board of Commissioners ratified a new three-year agreement with Court officials during their meeting Tuesday afternoon. The agreement came after an executive session when final details were hammered out.
In the agreement, employees in the TPOAM of General Probate Court, District Court and Circuit Court will receive a compensation payment based on longevity, up to $2,000 dollars and wage increases from 1.5% to 1.75% over the life of the contract that began July 1st 2019 and is set to expire June 30th, 2022.
According to the agreement, court employees between 15 – 19 years of service will receive $500 while those with 20-24 years will receive $1,000. Employees with 25-29 years will be given $1,500 and over 30 years of service or more will receive $2,000.
