85-year old man injured in rollover accident

(WORTH TOWNSHIP) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle rollover accident Monday afternoon in Sanilac County’s Worth Township.

According to deputies, 85-year old Ronald Stablin of St. Clair was turning south off Oak Street, pulling into the path of 46­-year ­old John Lindsay Jr. of Croswell who was driving north on Lakeshore Road causing the St. Clair man’s vehicle to rollover.

Stablin was treated on scene and transported to McLaren Port Huron by Croswell EMS while Lindsay was not injured.

The accident remains under investigation and alcohol was determined to not be a factor in the crash.

Both men were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

Deputies were assisted by the Lexington Fire Department.
