Agri-Valley Services begins work in Deckerville

(DECKERVILLE) – Agri-Valley Services announced it is bringing fiber-optic broadband internet access Deckerville.

Details of the project were announced last week at a “Town Hall” meeting in Deckerville with around 60 guests present.

After months of surveying residents and coordination with the village, AVS kicked-off construction of the all-new fiber optic infrastructure earlier this month.

With construction of the buried infrastructure expected to be complete in late October, the company will begin connecting customers with affordable plans offering download and upload speeds up to 100 mbps.

Deckerville is the sixth privately funded FiberNet Community project by AVS.

Other communities include the Sandusky, where construction is currently underway, the M-25 Corridor north of Lexington, the Village of Peck, Worth Township and Buel Hill manufactured home community in Buel Township.
