Port Huron man arrested in drug bust

A 42-year old Port Huron man was arrested late last week by members of the St. Clair County Drug Task Force team, allegedly in possession of crystal meth, heroin and prescription pills. According to police, DTF agents saw the man ran from a room he was in at the Days Inn on Pine Grove Ave Thursday evening. Following a short foot chase , the man was captured, after allegedly throwing baggies of suspected drugs. A search of the suspect and his room produced additional amounts of illegal narcotics. The man was lodged in the St. Clair County Jail and is facing possible charges including possession with intent to distribute crystal meth.
