A Vassar veterinarian has been found guilty of 56 counts of improperly burying or disposing of animals, mostly cats and birds, following his trial in Tuscola County last week. According to court records, Dr. Douglas E. Link has sentencing set on his charges for January 30th. Investigators discovered the animals had been euthanized at his clinic in Vassar, but were later found on his property and had not been properly disposed of. The misdemeanor charges have a maximum 90 day sentence.
