St. Clair County DTF shuts down second hash oil operation

Suspects arrested as a result of numerous raids by DTF

 

(ST. CLAIR COUNTY) – Another butane hash oil operation has been busted by the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department. Investigators shut down an illegal marijuana and butane hash oil manufacturing site in Wales Township Thursday evening.

According to authorities, the DTF executed a search warrant around 6 pm in the 10000 block of Dunn Road. During the investigation at the residence, it was learned suspects had no medical marijuana status.

A 30-year old man and 26-year old woman, both from Wales Township, were arrested without incident and lodged at the St. Clair County jail.

259 marijuana plants, with a processed value of more than 1.5 million dollars were seized along with $156,000 worth of already processed marijuana, $1000 worth of hash oil, $1000 worth of marijuana wax and other drug related materials.

The St. Clair County Sheriff Road Patrol also assisted in the investigation.

 

  • In another incident in St. Clair County, a 48-year old Algonac woman has been arrested, following an investigation by the St. Clair County Drug Task Force.

According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, around 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, DTF agents executed a search warrant in the 1500 block of Fruit Street. Drug Task Force located and seized about $700 worth of heroin, along with marijuana and a digital scale.

The woman was lodged in the St. Clair County jail and is facing charges including possession with intent to deliver heroin and other drug related charges.

The St. Clair County Sheriff Road Patrol also assisted in the investigation.
